Whakarewarewa

Whakarewarewa is the legacy and home of the Tūhourangi Ngāti Wāhiao people, who have been sharing their unique way of life with visitors from all around the world for over two hundred years. Experience Māori culture, myths and history and explore the geothermal wonderland.

There is wheelchair access into the meeting house and kiwi house. The walk to the big geyser is on uneven path and is very steep in places but it is visible from cafe. Disabled bathrooms available.
