Modern, clean and contemporary Lodge packed with facilities. Situated a very short 8Km’s from Rotorua CBD and far enough from the unpleasant sulphur smells and 1 Km away from Ngongotaha Shopping village. 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
Freedom Mobility client feedback: “Rotorua is not far from Taupo/Tauranga/White Island/Hobbiton/Waitomo – so you might want to base yourselves there for a week and make day trips. Lots of trout fishing – possibly outside the back door, plus fish hatcheries nearby etc. It’s a bit of a Ra-Ra-Ra tourist town but enjoyable anyway. The house that we stayed at in Rotorua was perfect for our situation. It was a large house that slept 10. Close to all tourist areas but far enough away to be quiet. The only cons were that no wheelchair access from kitchen to main areas unless you went outside and around the back which is accessible. Shower was a bit tight to get into but we managed to wheel commode chair thru with a bit of juggling. It’s also a bit of a hike from main wheelchair accessible room to shower. Other than that it was a great location right on the water. I’d stay there again.”
