Trip Advisor Review: “QE Spa is actually part of the physiotherapy department of Rotorua hospital based in the original hospital grounds adjacent to Lake Rotorua in downtown Rotorua. There are two pools both having wheelchair access by way of a chair which can be lowered into the water. 140 is hot 40 degrees Celsius and the other quite cooler the hot pool relieves aches and pains and is catheter friendly as the water is heated via a heat exchanger. If you are a quadriplegic I could not recommend a better place for you to unwind and relax your shoulders than here. The quietest time to visit is around dinner time and entry is only $15 I do suggest you visit the spa with your swimming shorts or swim suit already on. You will stay hot for at least a couple of hours after your swim so don’t be afraid that you are going to get cold.” – for more click here.
