One of Canterbury’s original food markets, the Christchurch Farmers’ Market has been operating since 2004. With the backdrop of Riccarton’s native bush and historic house, browse a range of baking, fresh seasonal vegetables & fruit, cheesemongers, delis & butchers, patisseries, olive oil, and a number of hand-made breakfast & lunch food options plus fresh organic coffee from Hummingbird Roaster. The bush is a perfect place for a picnic and is accessible for wheelchairs. The Christchurch Farmers’ Market is held ever Sunday from 9am to 1pm.
