A short drive from Mount Maunganui is Papamoa Beach. Papamoa beach has 16-kilometres of uncrowded pristine beaches.
There are two beach wheelchairs available at the Papamoa Surf Club for public use.
Did you know there are two beach wheelchairs available at the Pāpāmoa Surf Club for public use? One for adults and one that is more suitable for children or small adults.
If you’d like to use either of the chairs, you can ask one of the lifeguards on duty, and they can get it out for you. Or if it’s outside of patrol hours, please phone the office on 07 542 2122.
There is also beach mats and beach wheelchairs available at Mount Maunganui.
