Cruises run on weekdays and weekends, and offer the chance to see an authentic slice of daily life in the remote Marlborough Sounds. The Mail boat has been delivering mail, groceries and goods to residents in remote locations in the scenic Marlborough Sounds for more than a century.
Pelorus Mail Boat Accessibility
Back in 2017, the company set out to make the boat accessible to ensure everyone could enjoy truly unique experience. This include the addition of Wheelchair accessible toilets, and boat ramps that allow access on and off the boat in most locations and conditions.
Their website indicates they have partial wheelchair access. Some mobility is required and prior notice is recommended. They can take a maximum of two wheelchairs per cruise. Please contact them to discuss your requirements.
