Along the way look out for Heritage Panels which are full of fascinating history and legends from the area’s native tribes including how Whangarei got its name. In the summer months, Artisian Fair Markets are run in The Reyburn House Grounds in the Town Basin section of the pathway. You may need to allow a full afternoon to see and do all the things available.
