Te Anau Bird Sanctuary gives you an insight into Fiordland’s special birds that are most difficult to view in the wild. It is only a 15 minute walk from the Fiordland National Park Visitor Centre. Entry is free but a donation is appreciated. There are picnic spaces and toilets nearby too.
The 10 minute walking track is suitable for people of all abilities including wheelchairs and strollers.
