Mt Taranaki

Mt Taranaki is a dormant volcano in the Taranaki region (near New Plymouth). Although many of the walks are steep and less accessible on wheels, the drive to, around and even up the mountain is well worth it. See the stunning views across the Central Plateau and the ocean.
